This spotlight will be focused on a very unique and intriguing personality: Taurus
from Burning Angel!
Taurus is an intelligent and
determined young woman with hard work on her mind (amongst other things). You
know that one person who is always the life of the party, that's her. She can
hold a conversation about comic books and advanced medical science with out a
second thought. She has a great down to earth personality, but is very
opinionated about the thing's she cares for. As an outsider looking in I didn't
know what to expect when we first met but let me tell you, what you see is what
you get, and then some.
In my years of knowing Taurus I've
learned that she is loving, intensely loyal, and the greatest sort of friend to
have (the type of friend who CAN and WILL remove your pant's from your person
in order to break the ice in a crowded room). Whether you love her or hate her,
I promise this is a face you won't soon forget! ENJOY!!
Q and A with Taurus
Q: Tell us a little
about yourself and what you do.
A: I am a porn
starlet and pole princess, I work with Burning Angel and a few other companies
to make awesome porn for your viewing pleasure.
Q: What sparked your
interests in this type of work and how long have you been involved in it?
A: I started out as a
dancer, my best friends mom and my aunt were dancers and I learned quite a bit
from them. From there I went to nude
modeling and then to video, its the normal story.
Q: What about your
work is unique and why do you love it?
A: There's probably
nothing distinctly different about my specific scenes, but the type of work I
do is different. I tend to lean more
toward fetish work and less towards the mainstream. Generally I am chosen for specific parts or
specific companies due to my tattoos and piercings. I love my work because I love the people I
work with and things I do. I feel so
lucky to get paid to do what I love with my friends!
Q: Speaking of
Tattoos and piercings, what modifications have you made to your body and what
got you started?
A: I have several tattoos including a chest
piece and I am working on finishing up a sleeve on my right arm with Brian
Meier. I got my first tattoo on my
shoulder, it was a gift from my good friend Josh for my birthday, I had always
wanted tattoos, my dad and uncles had several and I was very into that
scene. I have had a lot of piercings in
my life, but as of now I have spider bites and a nose ring.
Q: Share some of the
major misconceptions surrounding porn actors and actresses.
A: Oh gosh, there is
not enough time in the world to share all of the major misconceptions, but some
that I find I run into most are: That it
is degrading to women, which in my opinion is ridiculous. There are so many different kinds of porn,
some with out women in them at all, that you could not put a broad stamp on the
porn industry and say it degrades woman.
I have never seen or felt degraded in any way. Another common misconception is that we are
all rich and make tons of money. While I
wish this was true, it is not. To make a
lot, we have to work a lot, just like any other person. We don't make thousands of dollars a minute
and we don't make "easy money".
Q: How do you help in
dealing with some of these misconceptions?
A: I have always been
very open, and encourage people to ask me questions.
Q: In what ways do
you feel that this is an effective form of opening peoples eyes to what you do?
A: I think most of the misconceptions come from
that fact that people don't really know whats going on behind the scenes, so
they assume and that's when they conclude these untrue things. I think being open allows people a glimpse at
the truth.
Q: Are you proud to
be apart of the Burning Angel family?
A: I am very proud to
be apart of Burning Angel! I love what
they have done for the Alt industry. I
have been very lucky to be one of there girls!
Q: why are they any
different than other companies?
A: I find that it is
much more relaxed on set, everyone is friends and we all help each other.
Q: Could you give an
example?
A: Sometimes people
in the industry get very catty with each other, but with B.A. I feel like we
are all friends and help each other to move forward with what ever goals we may
have.
Q: Tell us all about
your most memorable moment on set?
A: Well one of my
favorite moments on set was shooting some BTS, with Joanna and Sidra, we ate
lunch and had BST serve us with out pants on.
It was just a good time we all had a laugh.
Q: What are some of
your favorite thing's to do?
A: I love to read and
travel! My favorite kinds of books are
historical fiction, but I have been reading the Game of Thrones series and the
Wicked series and I love them both. I
use to travel quite a bit, but, more recently I haven't gone far, except for work. That's why I am super excited to be going to
Vegas for the AVNs and to Hawaii in May! It will be good to travel for fun
again!
Q: What can we expect

A: I hope you can
